The Demi gods are not really gods, they do not influence destiny, nor can they influence fate. Nevertheless, they derive their powers from the aspect to which they are assigned, whether that came before or after people started worshipping them, even the gods themselves don't know anymore. Nevertheless, they are powerful creatures that also feed on the people themselves, and the only way to fight one of them is to bind them to a place. Since they are immortal, they cannot be killed. However, binding a god is considered blasphemous.
