It’s a lazy Sunday afternoon, and Jason is sat on his large overstuffed armchair, a book in one hand and a cup of coffee in the other. 

She deftly nicks the coffee from his hand, and plops down on the chair’s arm where his arm was previously resting. He looks up at her, amused despite himself at her thievery and Marinette kisses him, the taste of his coffee cream still on both their lips.

“What are you reading?” she asks with a smile, fingers dragging lightly at an edge of the book.

He twists his wrist, showing her the cover. “An anthology of love poems.”

She hums, settling further into his lap, half curled over his shoulder and legs slowly creeping across his own. Automatically, his arm comes up around her waist, book forgotten for the moment.

“You’ve been reading a lot of those lately,” Marinette observes.

“I have a lot to catch up on.”

She blinks at him, then down at the book in their laps. “Jason, that book is eighty years old.”

He laughs, which seems a bit rude considering she’s right.

“I mean,” he says smiling, “that I didn’t read a lot of this when I was younger. Poets made love seem so important, so… all-encompassing and grand.” He shrugs. “Didn’t use to understand it much, I guess.”

She tilts her head, “But you understand it now?”

And, oh, the way his eyes go soft when he looks at her.

“Yeah,” he whispers, “Yeah, I understand now.”

i have a Bedtime Stance to announce to my family that I'm going to bed. it also comes with a verbal phrase as well, but only after they have noticed the Stance

imma be real with you,,,, i have no fuckin clue. amethyst is the only bitch I know

uh,,, ‘okie doki’ probably. it’s my go to response

66. favorite flower(s)?

tiger lilies, lotus flowers & hibiscus. i fumkin love those bitches

85. fairy tales or mythology?

i wanna say fairy tales, but I really only like the versions that do something interesting with the story/twist it around, but I suppose the same can be said for mythology. i like the vibes of fairy tales more too ig.

I first started writing fic ideas in June, but I didn’t start actually writing them out until October. Maribat is the first fandom I’ve ever

20 - What feedback makes you the happiest to hear?

Literally any feedback makes me happy (as long as it’s not mean). I especially  love the enthusiastic keysmash responses, though.
