Morgan: *looks up* Karadec, thats not a mistletoe. That’s a holly. They are frequently mistaken for each other. Mistletoe is a parasitic plant with white berries and smooth leaves, while holly is an independent shrub or tree with spiky leaves and red berries. So yep, that’s a holly. Not a mistletoe.

Someone responding to my comment about how the show's possibly building up to a relationship in Will Trent. I feel like I've entered a "Twilight Zone" episode where romance is bad. Also, newsflash, once Faith gets into a relationship, she will no longer be Ormewood's roommate and her dynamic with him will change because what man would want his girlfriend to have a relationship with a man that closely resembles romance?

That goes for everyone who hates Morgan and Karadec on High Potential and for good measure, Syd and Carmy on The Bear.

I'm completely not disregarding anyone's right to not ship characters together - but when and WHY did we become so anti-romance, and heavily focused on "platonic" relationships? Or worse, caling people sibling-like.

I could go on but I would probably go way off into unhinged ranting territory.

Karadec Morgan grounding each other

I haven't seen the finale yet so NO SPOILERS PLS but the BEST THING I ADORE about the Karadec x Morgan x Wagner triangle is that even though Morgan and Wagner had ALL TGOSE MOMENTS in last week's episode where Wagner saves her and Morgan keeps Wagner in check and they bond, Morgan actively only relaxes around Karadec.

When they were about to go down to the tunnels even after Wagner said she can come, Morgan looked to Karadec to see his nod of okay.

When she almost got shot and was saved by Nick she had that moment w him but she only exhaled from the shock the moment Karadec came running to them and she laid eyes on him.

When Nick walked away after almost killing that dude and Morgan stopped her, sure they had a eye contact and a silent moment but she looked immediately at Karadec to check in and ground herself after.

When she's in the bullpen about to go home, she finally finally RELAXES when she's got Karadec holding her, like her entire face transforms into peace and vulnerability like ....

Throughout the WHOLE EPISODE it's like the two of them Karadec and Morgan need each other to ground themselves and to check in w each other because they know that the other person is the one who'll be able to calm them down when they're 'falling apart on the job'. Because 'out of all the people in their lives' they're the ones who'll know what to do for each other.
