It feels weird to see people say that Eloise grew into a good sister this season. Eloise can have tunnel vision; she's prickly, blunt, and sometimes just likes seeing her siblings squirm, but her love for them is one of the most consistent things about her. Without her, Penelope would've happily lied her way down the aisle, but despite how dismissive Colin was being, Eloise insisted that her brother deserved the truth. She supported Benedict's desire to go to art school. From the mountain tops, I scream that she found Daphne annoying, but out of sisterly loyalty, tried to help her when she signaled that she didn't want to be alone with Lord Berbrooke.
It's so in character for her to try to support Francesca in her grief. Hell, she even tried supporting Penelope when her father died, but she didn't want to talk about it. Eloise was impatient with Hyacinth, but a part of that is because Violet made her chaperone her under duress. Most of the time, she is a good sister.
