Story..

“A cruise ship met with an accident at sea. On the ship was a married couple. After having made their way to the lifeboat, they realized that there was only space for one person left. At this moment, the man pushed the woman behind him and jumped onto the lifeboat himself. The lady stood on the sinking ship and shouted one sentence to her husband.” The teacher stopped and asked, "What do you think she shouted?" Most of the students excitedly answered, "I hate you!" The teacher noticed a boy who was silent throughout, he got him to answer and he replied, "Teacher, I believe she would have shouted - Take care of our child!" The teacher was surprised, asking "Have you heard this story before?" The boy shook his head, "No, but that was what my mum told my dad before she died to disease". The teacher lamented, "The answer is right". The ship sank; the man went home and brought up their daughter single-handedly. Many years later, after his death, their daughter found his diary while tidying his belongings. It turns out that when the parents went on the cruise, the mother was already diagnosed with a terminal illness. At the critical moment, the father rushed to the only chance of survival. He wrote in his diary, "How I wished to sink to the bottom of the ocean with you, but for the sake of our daughter, I can only let you lie forever below the sea alone". The story was finished, the class was silent. The teacher knew that the students had understood the moral of the story, that of the good and the evil in the world, that there are many complications behind them which are hard to understand. This is why we should not focus only on the surface and judge others without understanding them first. Those who like to pay the bill, do so not because they are loaded but because they value friendship above money. Those who apologize first after a fight, do so not because they are wrong but because they value the people around them. Those who are willing to help you, do so not because they owe you anything but because they see you as a true friend.

Another reason why I love my dad

Today I went to the hospital with my dad and on the way home he told me a story which he read on the internet and it goes like this: “One time there was a women. Her flight was delayed so she had to wait at the airport. There weren’t so much people in the waiting hall so she took a seat and took out her book. She had taken cookies from home for the flight. 2 seats next to her was sitting a men. So she read the book and ate the cookies which were on the seat next to her. Then the man next to her took one of cookies out of the package without saying a word and ate it just like that. Off course she went angry but she didn’t said a word she thought maybe he is just hungry but anyway he could have asked . So then she took another one and the man also after her. And so it went on until there was only one cookie left and all this time the women was totally mad about the man’s impolite behavior but still she didn’t said a word. So now there was only one cookie left and what happened? The men took the cookie, split it in two and gave the women the other part of the cookie. After that they both sat silently next to each other a little while until the men went to his flight. Later the women wanted to put the book into her bag and as she opened it, she found a whole package of cookies in her back the ones she took from home. So actually she was eating his cookies the whole time .” After the story my dad said to me:“ Always look at yourself first before you start blaming someone and also try to understand the other person. Because it might turns out that you are the one who’s behaving bad.”
