Faith No More - “We Care a Lot”
Yesterday one of my oldest and best friends handed me a bottle of Buckfast and a slice of toast (hoping it would be reciprocated in the future..) in one of the most beautiful gestures a man can extend to another. Look closely. Lots of love for this! And for the couple behind it. Honoured and privileged. #Bestman2k18 #InCahootsSince'96 #Adam&Morgan #Mordam #Wedding #MidgetsStrippersAndPublicHumiliation

Summary: Immortality stole every surprise and dulled ever wonder. It replaced them with monotony. Nothing was new. Everything had happened before.
How magnificent to be wrong about that. Their curse, if it should be called that, still had one novelty left for them.
Phew. Over a month-and-a-half but it's finally finished.
Sorry if you don't like mpreg. Uh, it still has a lot of my ideas and opinions on how a relationship between Henry and Adam would go, so there is that to enjoy.
I honestly can't decide if Adam would be angry at Henry, or really freaking proud that Henry did something so ruthless. Because he basically got what he wanted (Henry showing that he's on the same road that led to Adam becoming what he is). Maybe Adam would acknowledge that Henry is too young and still too kind for that, while Henry would have to acknowledge that he's done something that he can't go back from and maybe Adam's right after all. And they reach a middle ground
Yeeessssss. I am totally down for Adam being creepy proud of what Henry did to him. I think he would taunt Henry with it in a passive way, with a smile, his own version of fun. And if Henry felt guilty about it, he wouldn’t really be able to retaliate. Because he would know what he did was wrong. And would have to live with it. And he may tell Adam it’s moot because he recovered, but it would fall a bit flat.
So if there were a season two, I would be very on board with a darker Henry and a… lighter (?) Adam. A compliant Adam. With Henry controlling him using their continued relationship as blackmail. And Adam understanding that sullying Henry will be the long game. There would always be this nagging feeling like Adam had the upper hand, as though he were manipulating Henry, even if he were the subservient one. He would never force Henry outright again, but he may direct him towards darker decisions, presenting them as situations with no alternative. Because turning Henry will always be his intent.
I think there’s a part of Adam that is very determined, very desperate to tarnish Henry. He has to. Because they’re the same. They began under such similar circumstances. He’s the one that is always pushing the comparison between them, from pilot to finale. So if Henry can manage to maintain his humanity it means that Adam failed, that he was weak. I imagine he holds on to that goodness that he used to be, looking at it like an old photograph. He is proud of what he once was and makes excuses that how he ended up wasn’t his fault. So if Henry doesn’t lose that as well, it breaks the illusion.
For his own peace of mind, Henry has to become him. I love it.
