It really sucks that now on NC we'll only get 10 episodes a semester, so basically we'll get 4 years of high school in the amount of screen time that used to cover 1-2 semesters, some summer special and beyond. And I feel like DNC is really very good. The revamp revived me. What we all need to do is push for either more episodes or 42 minute episodes instead of 22, because it just isn't enough. Not for how intense Degrassi is. They've already started season 5-6, but I hope season 7 they'll consider expanding. Degrassi explores the same issues cyclically. Imagine how impactful cyber bullying, mental health, sexuality, identity and other storylines would be if they had the time to flesh it out and breathe.
