Okamoto Nobuhiko doesn’t cheat on his wife (MAYBE)
If you’re a fan of Okamoto Nobuhiko, I believe that you’ve likely to see the news about him and a mysterious woman came out of a love hotel. Whatever you’re feeling right now, it is as true as it can be.
He had issued an apology note and admitted his wrong doing. I am not here to tell you that the news is fake. I just want to show you several things that I have found, and maybe this will help to give you a peace of mind :)
This is definitely Okamoto Nobuhiko. Next to him is a petite, short woman with a blurred face. Pikorin is holding a bag of sweets, full to the brim, and the lady is holding a sort of boxed sweets.
This is what I think. As much as Pikorin LOVES his sweets, bringing a full bag out of a Love Hotel is still very weird. It can be that he purchased them inside, or he brought them when he went in and then out, the possibility is endless. However, he likely to purchase (or his friend gave it to him) sweets inside because
that Love Hotel is not just a love hotel.
This is a Balinese style resort/ Love hotel in Shinjuku named the BaliAn. I found it because as an Indonesian who grew up with Bali island as backyard, this style surprisingly very memorable to me.
The BaliAn Resort Shinjuku shares the same in-out entrance with Pasela Sweet and Three Monkeys Café. Pasela Sweey is a café and karaoke place which famous of their super sweet scrumptious HONEY TOAST, something that definitely will charm our certain sweet tooth! :D :D
Three Monkeys Café is a Pub which serve good alcohol and fusion dishes – Japanese and Asian, and also Indonesian food such as Nasi Goreng (fried rice).
I posted before that Okamoto Nobuhiko and couple of other seiyuus founded a ‘Meat Lover Club’ with agenda is to look and try new and delicious dishes as much as they can. Asian fusion dishes, good alcohol, scrumptious sweets, and a place to relax with a unique Balinese interior are very tempting indeed!
On the other hand, of course we can just decide that Pikorin cheated on his wife, visited the Cafés, bought some stuff and went out with the mysterious women; hence, explained the sweets. However, as true as it sounds, there is no other proof that he is indeed, being unfaithful to his wife. The only picture available is that two of them came out of a ‘Love Hotel’, which
after seeing the Café and Pub attached with the same entrance, the news somehow has become way less convincing.
Now about the mysterious woman. When the Meat Lover club goes to eat, it is very normal that they bring their loved one, wife or partner who can also be in the same industry as them. Its mean that the woman on the picture is likely to be another seiyuu’s important person. If its yes, then why it has to be Pikorin who bear the blame, it can be tricky.
Several assumptions are that that person hasn’t able to announce his marriage or long-term relationship due to various reasons, such as agency contract. It also possible that it just easier to sacrifice only one seiyuu rather than bringing others down, especially if they belong in the same agency. The other one is that no one will believe them, and it will just create more commotion. If anyone remember Kamiya Hiroshi case, he apologized for making ‘trouble’ for ‘everyone’ and not because he was wrong.
This does not change the fact that Pikorin was witnessed coming out of a ‘Love Hotel’ with a mysterious woman.
However, just think about this: will the news get this much attention if the title was “Okamoto Nobuhiko hanging out with co-worker after work. The famous café is same location as love hotel!”
