Dating game au!! Yayyy!!
——————
“What are you doing?” Keith came up from behind the couch Romelle sat on.
The blonde woman jumped before holding up her phone a little to show him, “Playing a game.”
“What game?” He jumped over the couch to sit beside her.
“Legendary Love.”
He raised a brow at her, “Never heard of it.”
“Yeah, you wouldn’t like this game.”
“Try me.”
“It’s a dating game.”
“Yeah, nevermind,” he stood up, “dating games are lame.”
“Wait- now you’ve asked, you have to listen!” She dragged him back down onto the couch, “I have no one to talk to about this.”
Keith rolled his eyes as he slumped back, “Fine.”
“Okay, so! You find yourself in space with three of your classmates and your mentor,” she scrolled off the game and showed a picture of four characters in mostly white armour with a splash of a defining colour, “only Lance and Hunk are romanceable, but we’ll get back to that later. You guys get launched into space after finding some mechanical lion in a cave that you discovered. You find yourselves in front of some castle, you explore that, defeat some ancient ghosts blah blah and THEN!” She grinned, “And then you meet the most jaw dropping, beautiful woman ever. She’s so beautiful and kind. Her name’s Allura, she’s the princess of a lost civilisation called Altea her dad froze her in the castle for the last, like, 10,000 years and I- uh- you wake her up from her almost ever-lasting slumber, it’s almost like the story of Snow White except I didn’t get to kiss her. Well, I don’t get to in the beginning anyway, her route has so much good stuff! Like-”
Keith coughed, “Maybe get through what happens in the main story before you talk about routes. Good to know your favourite though.”
She blushed, “Allura’s so well written!” She gushed, “Well, anyway, she tells you about the other four lions. The one you came in on - Blue - has already bonded to Lance, the one in the blue armour,” made sense, he nodded, “you’re assigned the red one which is on an enemy ship. Since Lance already has his lion, he assists you in getting it. Then there’s a few more fight and exploration quests boring stuff and you finally get your lion and start heading back. But! A galra - that’s the alien race of the enemy by the way - catches you trying to steal it! First big boss fight! If you win you go back and continue the story, if you lose you’re sent to the galra Prince Lotor! That’s the earliest bad ending you can get.”
