Summary: Things are finally settling back down to normal since Cas gave up his grace to cure Dean of the Mark. Well, as normal as their lives are allowed to get. Sam’s been tracking a series of odd occurrences in Laramie, Wyoming for the last few weeks that looks just enough like a case to finally convince Dean they should go check it out. Whether they like it or not, the goddess responsible for the weirdness in Laramie takes an immediate interest in the three less-than-perfectly-happy hunters who’ve stumbled into her town.
Comments: It has been a long time since I’ve had such a positive reaction to a fic that I wanted to rec it. But I had so many happy feels while reading this fic! I started to bookmark each time I got choked up thinking about our show, and needless to say, my Kindle is full of notes now. The tags on this fic almost had me turn away, because it’s listed as Supernatural RPF AND Supernatural, so I was a little confused. But I am so glad I gave it a chance! It’s an RPF in the same way that the French Mistake could be called RPF, so it wasn’t a problem for me. And it’s canon divergent, and actually full of Destiel fluff. Seriously. Dean and Cas are so lovey dovey in this fic that it is almost of out of character, and I’m surprised at how it didn’t bother me. At least the author finally got them to talk through SO MANY of their issues! Finally! It was a fic full of feels, but of the best kind. I think anyone who ships Destiel, and likes our cast even a little bit, will come away smiling after reading this.
