🔷 THE MILE STYLE MARATHON 🔷 ____________________________________________ On Sunday, October 25th, 8 brave members of the Mile Style Militia ran a marathon through the streets of the Bronx. In the midst of quite possibly the most chaotic year of our lives, we decided that nothing would set us back and keep us at bay from running the 26.2 mile distance. One thing led to another, and before you knew it, we were actually planning a marathon. Only we didn’t want to go into Manhattan, Brooklyn, Queens, etc. So we kept it at home base, right here in the most thorough borough, the BX. From the route to the fuel stations, from bike support to pacers, from the start line to the finish, we pulled it all together and made it happen. To say that we’re beyond stoked by the results of Sunday would be an understatement. Our bodies are in shambles, but our hearts are stronger than ever. THE MARATHON CONTINUES. SEE YA’LL IN 2021! 🔷 UPDATED & UPGRADED 🔷 ________________________________________________________ This time last year, our boy Al ran his first marathon, soaking up the views and enjoying a 26 mile ride through the Big Apple. He wore and Superman shirt and finished in 6:18:39, averaging 14:27 per mile. That’s a hell of a lot of time on feet if you ask us. Fast forward to yesterday, and Al shaved off more than 50 minutes to earn his marathon PR. The shirt got updated. The strength and determination got upgraded. Guess that’s what happens when you roll with the Militia.
