Phew! Much Ado about yesterday: Everyone says that the journey of a thousand miles begins with one step. Well I'll say that "a journey of a thousand miles begins on time". And my journey from #ileife to Lagos on Saturday, did not. All in a bid to meet up with my shoot on Sunday, I literally risked my life. But praise God Almighty, it was worth it. Shoot done and elegantly dusted as you can see 🤭. In the end I was so glad I did (not that I would ever risk my life like that again though 🙄) I mean, of course, lesson learnt and all. But seeing these videos and reminiscing on the wonderful time spent at @sanusistudioslagos with all the wonderful people, from @habbysglam_ @habbysglam my beautiful and ever so cheerful make-up artist to the remarkably gifted and talented photographer and creative director of Sanusi Studios, to his lovely, bubbly assistant and my personal BTS videographer 😌 @ yesterday was nothing short of memorable. Certainly memorable enough to wash of the bad memory of the day before 🙄. Bottom line, I'm glad I dared to journey across three states for this (not glad I missed rehearsal at #moremithemusical though) but glad I got to record this in my 2023 creative dairy (not a real thing). This piece wouldn't be complete if I fail to acknowledge the amazing Abisola of @a5photographystudios for choosing me.
