I love how the Five/Tegan and Seven/Ace (and the Master/Ace/Tegan sass off) scenes in particular were aimed *just* at 80s era viewers. They didn't bother to explain or give context to anything and honestly, I loved it.
Super curious about the reactions from those who haven't seen the Seven and Five eras yet, that was probably wild.
I knoooow, that was so fun. Big finish energy of "if you're not Paul Cornell-level expert about this show gtfo this park" hahaha. say what you will about chibnall but his commitment to tidying up obscure lore that only 0.5% of the audience cares about was always wonderful xD re: reactions, anecdotally, I believe they've been positive! a couple people were like "oh I didn't know ace/tegan before, but I love her!!!". Idk how much of that converts to people who will watch the classic stories, but I'm sure is not an insignificant number.
