Tucked away in north Melbourne, Mörk is a little piece of Scandinavian heaven. The store is beautifully designed and the vanilla flavoured sparkling water your receive on arrive should definitely be available by the litre!
Having seen their specialty hot chocolates on numerous publications I had been gagging to make a trip to Mörk.
With chocoholic companions at my side I indulged in the experimental "Campfire Hot Chocolate". One can't help but feel a little like a mad scientist when this drink arrives. An overturned glass tumbler filled with the familiar smell of campfire is set beside a dusting of black salt, hot chocolate pot and marshmallow stirrer. The staff encourage you to combine the smoke, chocolate and salt with a quick stir using the marshmallow. The end result is a fusion of smokey, chocolatey deliciousness.
My fellow diners indulged in the chocolate and peanut butter milkshake and the Chocolate Bar Hot Chocolate which is a fusion of salted caramel, hot chocolate and hazelnut. Following our beverages we enjoyed a beautiful salted caramel tart and a peanut brittle brownie ball! Both of which were absolutely delicious!
