Once in a blue moon
Clarisse had decided earlier that day that she needed to relieve some stress. The pregnancy had been weighing her down and she had been having an even harder time with Xavier being gone all of the time. It had been two weeks since she had last seen him, two weeks too many she believed. Clarisse had wandered over to the training grounds, the one place she felt at home.
Clarisse walked over to the weapon racks and carefully traced her fingers over the cool metal that covered the hilts of the different swords. The cool metal already working some magic, making some of the stress float off of her shoulders. She fingered through the rack before pulling out her own sword. It had been ages since she had wielded a sword, she had been taking it easy because of the twins and hadn’t wanted to upset them, or Xavier with brash decisions.
Clarisse carefully walked over to a training dummy giving it a jab. A jolt of adrenaline washed through her body. She took a deep breath letting the feeling course through her veins. She threw another jab and threw herself into defeating the training dummy.
As she threw her thoughts into her actions, the actions that came naturally to her, blood started to trickle down her thighs. Clarisse worked her way around the arena from dummy to dummy trailing blood behind her. Once she was at the last “victim” the trickle had turned into a gush and Clarisse cried out in pain. Her sword tumbled out of her hands and she clutched her stomach, collapsing to the ground.

“Ah, shit, shit, shit! What is going on!”
I’m still mad that we can’t have a winter here.
“Can’t you read? The sign says that all trainings for the day are cancelled, and that the practice arena is closed!” Clarisse hissed.
We need to grow like..guavas here or something.
