Do you have any ideas what the Avari Elves would look like in your Eldritch AU? Would they be smaller (cause iirc, Elves from Valinor are taller than those from Middle Earth)? Would they have animal hides?

You're not being annoying at all, don't worry!! I love receiving your questions about the AU! Helps me develop the lore hahaa XD

As for the Dark Elves, @overlord-of-fantasy had an idea about them that I really like! You can find it here; they'd indeed wear animal hides and pelts/furs, and their masks could also reflect animal faces to better help with camouflage. I also think they'd be smaller, like you suggested - and this finally gave me the push to draw the different Elven clans lmaoo (using Beren as my human height comparison once again XD)

The Dark Elves are on the left! Morwe and Nurwe are apparently from (likely) abandoned drafts, but I decided to use the names anyway XD And the coloured lines are meant to represent the clans' jewellery styles!

Very late (apologies) but I made a small edit for Day 5 of @tolkienofcolourweek.  This is my take on Morwë, as depicted in my fic Ever Shall They Call (which was a gift for @arofili for the Worldbuilding Exchange last year), for the prompt ‘Environment’.  The fic explores the cultural importance of the stars to the Elves who woke by Cuiviénen.

The text is actually from another fic of mine, Undómiel, which I wrote in response to @cycas’s headcanons about Arwen’s banner - so if you prefer this as a fancast for Arwen, that works too!

CUIVIENEN ELVES MY BELOVED

Morwë is Tata's and Tatië's eldest son. He's kind of the total opposite of Finwë in both looks and personality and never really got along with him, which is mostly because young Finwë was kind of a dick (a very competent one but still a dick) and very proud that Tata gave him the position as leader of the Tatyar. Morwë was of the opinion that Finwë doesn't deserve his position because of the behaviour (he thought similarly about Imin but that wasn't his business anyway). He was however close friends with Miriel and even married her brother Merion. So even though Finwë and he hated eachother they kind of ended up as in-laws lol. When the elves who wanted to go westwards left Finwë entrusted the safety of those who remained behind to Morwë, reconciling their relationship a little bit. Morwë dies only a few years later leaving the Tatyar in the hands of his younger sister Lilótiel. After both he and Finwë get reborn, they seal their new found friendship with a drink (or two). Also he really thinks that Finwë's family is a mess, Lalwen is his favourite niece.
