while the age difference between them meant that claire didn’t really get to know augustine, watching her brother be married was one of the happiest days of her life and his divorce cut her to the quick nearly as much as it did him.

when he returned to australia claire was left somewhat adrift, but took night classes through the university of new orleans while working at a gun range, eventually graduating with a degree in hotel, restaurant and tourism administration.  the degree allowed her to move into a management position at the range.

with two new scars and a dire warning that an inch in either direction could have been fatal, claire was discharged a couple of weeks later and began to look for an opportunity for another fresh start.  it came in the form of the mystic falls tourism board, eagerly searching for new young talent.  staying long enough to wrap things up in new orleans, claire packed her things and headed for mystic falls and her next adventure.

      Bio. Nathaniel was born the younger brother of Nic and Kiera Nichos, a son to proud werewolf parents. When he was little, the wolf curse placed on the crescent pack, meant his mother did most of the child rearing while his father was only present on each full moon. When Nate was 10, his older brother - who he idolised- triggered his gene and became subjected to the curse like his father. The fact he had lost time with his father and his brother sent Nathaniel on a destrctive path and he was soon causing his mother problems - drinking drugs and sleeping around. He was acting out and his mother was the one who was around to deal with it. Soon after his fifteenth birthday he was diagnosed with Bipolar. Despite his inteligence, he didn’t  apply himself and left school with the minimal grades needed to graduate. A few years after leaving school, Nate was still on a downward spiral, but his actions were no not subjected to his mother to clean up or deal with. It was only when he met Phoebe - a single mother who had gotten out of a domestic abusive relationship that he turned his life around. He became more involved in his families lives again- turning into the doting uncle that could now be trusted around the kids alone and not need a constant eye watching him. As he looked back on his actions, he apologised to his mother for the pain he had caused her and stood up to protect his new partner and her child from her ex. Soon the aggression and threats became less concerning and less frequent. All had been quiet for two years when Nate proposed to Phoebe. He had only managed to tell his family the good news, and soon followed up the proposal with Phoebes announcement that she was pregnant with Nate’s child. But the happiness wasn’t to last. Just after they reached 6 months into the pregnancy and still planning the wedding Nate knew Phoebe deserved, her ex showed up at the house one night drunk. After an altercation, and acting as if he was going to leave, her ex turned at the door, shooting Nate as he hugged Phoebe several times in the back, before going on the run.

For the last 14 or so years Kai has been sitting, plotting while locked up in yet another prison world. He thought the odds of him getting out of three prison worlds was just vastly against him but that didn’t stop his fractured mind from thinking of all the things he could do if he did ever get out. Bonnie and the rest of the gang out there living lives to the fullest while he rotted and he would fix that, one day. He told him over and over. 

Then without notice, without a even a glimmer of hints the world around him started cracking, breaking apart. There was a moment of fear when Kai thought they finally got sick of keeping the ascendent and decided to break it and cause his world to crumble around him. Causing him to vanish into nothingness but instead of going into a dark void Kai found himself standing in the center of the Mystic Grill during a busy lunch rush.

It took him mere seconds to notice he had no magic, he had no abilities at all and again his mind went to thinking Bonnie had something to do with it. Though with his amazing people skills or maybe they just wanted anyone to vent to, he found it wasn’t just him without magic, it was the world and that was something he could work with till things went back the right way. Which he had no doubts the scooby gang would work on it.

Now that magic is back Kai is going to be working to bring the Gemini coven back in his own image, destroying everything about it that his father was once proud of, if making peace and ending the curse to keep his snot nosed nieces away from his power was what he needed to do then so be it. At the very least he could get them all to lower their guards enough and kill one at the last moment if he couldn’t break the curse with them.

Childhood: Born in Boston, Kayleigh (third generation Irish American), grew up in the city until the age of seven.  At that age, what her parents did for a living or where their money came from wasn’t her concern; she just knew that she had more toys than some of her friends, that their house was nicer, and that she had a large number of “uncles” who would visit at all hours.  When she was seven they left Boston, relocating to New Orleans.  There, she gained a whole new family that would come to visit her parents - the Guerreras.

Adolescence: Even into her teenage years, Kayleigh never really understood the nature of her family’s affairs.  She was kept sheltered even as she began to work for them, using her natural affinity for numbers to handle the books and balance the bank accounts.  The numbers were large but not astronomical, and not enough that she ever really questioned what she was being asked to do.  During this period the Guerreras became a more constant fixture in her life, and it was also in this time that her anxiety became more of an issue.  The frequent meetings in their home that often ended in yelling would leave her sitting in her closet, where her mother would bring her a blanket and something to drink until she could calm herself down.

Young Adulthood: Kayleigh was sixteen when she triggered her curse, after Francesca Guerrera insisted to her father that she couldn’t be allowed to remain part of their business unless she truly understood what she was and what they were.  Taken on what was purportedly a sightseeing tour, Kayleigh found herself at the docks looking at a man bound and weighted down with a cement block.  Despite her initial refusal, the men who’d brought her produced guns and made it clear that if she didn’t push the man into the water she’d take his place.  She did, and the sight of him sinking into the murky depths still haunts her dreams. From then on she was considered a full fledged member of her family, with all of the rights and responsibilities that entailed.

Adulthood and Present Day: At nineteen she was introduced to Jake, who wooed her with flowers and fancy words.  As one of her parents’ bodyguards he had a uniquely privileged position in gaining both their approval and her trust, and by twenty-one she was wed.  It was only after the ink had dried on the license that she began to understand his real purpose; to have her bear a child and carry on the family business.  Even as she continued working as their accountant she began to scheme, keeping herself from falling pregnant and skimming a little bit of money off the top each month to set aside as an escape plan.   Progress on that front was slowed by her mother’s long illness and eventual death, but her biggest break came when Francesca was killed and her pack wiped out, throwing her father’s business into disarray and pulling his focus from Kayleigh as she filed for divorce and prepared to flee.  Taking advantage of the opportunity, Kayleigh put all of her plans into motion and moved to Mystic Falls.  It was a quiet little town, a perfect place for her to stay safe and hope that she wouldn’t be followed.

Matthias was born to Archer Thatcher and Francesca Thatcher, younger brother to Elena. The first two years, Matthias grew up in a loving family, but just after his second birthday, Matthias came down with a fever and the male was struggling to fight off the illness when his mother made the decision to use magic and transfer the ailment from her son to herself. Matthias doted on his children and wanting to protect them and give them the option his own father offered at the age of twenty three he was turned by his father.

It was when his youngest son, Christopher reached fifteen that he succumbed to a fever like his mother and the situation took the male back to losing his mother. However as he was dealing with the loss of one son, Benjamin also died. The loss of his sons started to send Matthias on a downward spiral. It was only after endangering himself that Archer stepped in and helped his son.

The next centuries Matthias stayed close to Archer and almost became dependant on the older male. When Archer left to find Freya, Matthias  stayed behind but soon decided to follow his father when he heard rumours of the dead returning in Mystic Falls- the exact place his father had left for.

Victor was born the younger brother within the Kenner household, the Kenners who backed the Dumas line for as long as Victor could trace back. When his older brother ended up marrying the alpha’s daughter, it was politics as was most marriages among higher ranking wolves in packs. Victor wasn’t a man who put himself in the middle of politics, he wanted to live his life to the best he could. When he was a teenager he spent his time with friends, he enjoyed New Orleans, fishing in the bayou. He was a sweet natured and fun spirited young man, who joked around and enjoyed simple life. It was then that he started sort of seeing another girl from within the pack, there was no political advantage to the coupling and in all honesty they weren’t really a couple just two kids enjoying spending time together. 

The real trouble was behind the scenes of the young wolf’s life, his family was more and more involved in the Dumas power struggle against the Labonairs, growing up around Daniel Labonair, Victor never had a personal problem with the other, He at times was a bit more serious than Victor thought was needed but at the same time Vic had no reason to be serious at the time, he was young, he wasn’t in line to be leading much of anything and certainly had no desire to. The rumor spreading around the pack was that the Labonair alpha was looking to make some kind of peace with the vampire leader of the city and having no real love for vampires himself Victor could only wonder why. After the death of his older brother and his wife, leaving behind the young nephew that Richard and Mary insisted on taking on but the young wolf was in no position to question the loyalty that his family had with the Dumas side and he certainly wasn’t involved enough to have an opinion. For nineteen years of the kids life their parents were only able to properly interact with them once a month on the full moon when they were able to be in human form. It was one evening that he and Daisy had been separated running the woods in their wolf forms caught in a trap laid by hunters. Knowing his wife died at the hands of others and he was no where around to aid her broke the man a little inside. His once kind, smiling personality had dwindled, he was human now but his wife never got to experience the curse-free life with their children like he would. He grew colder to the outside world smiling rarely and mostly only for his children as they went without any parents for long enough.

He had expected that maybe things were turning around when Hayley Marshall showed up and ended up being the lost Labonair child that his nephew was meant to marry when they both came to age. Though the hiccup with that was the girl showing up pregnant with another man’s child and not any man but the Original Hybrid himself. Even then the pack could only think that she joining the ranks would only bring them better days, after all she was the reason the curse was broken. 

However the good was short lived, the advancements that Hayley and Jackson tried to make for the pack came at a price and getting in the middle of a war was one thing, being strong armed by the Mikaelson family was another. If it wasn’t fighting with the vampires, in fighting among wolves, it was having to deal with Esther Mikaelson taking over the New Orleans witches and forcing pack members to join them, at first it was offers, pretty words and then it became violence. Victor unwilling to break his loyalty was murdered by Finn Mikaelson while in the body of Vincent.

Now that he is back Victor doesn’t want to relive the same fate, siding with Mikaelson family only borught more trouble to the pack that they couldn’t afford. With little payout in the end as he knows that they would help Mikaelsons over the pack in a heart beat so why would or even should the pack offer their lives? With the Labonair alphas back he wants them to take their place again, sensing some hesitation from his nephew and still no word about his brother Victor is willing to put himself up as a member of one of the oldest families that followed the Dumas line. It isn’t power Victory is after, its stability for his family.
