I finally understand what mewing is.

It's just moulting.

"I see you've been mewing" I say to the centipede who's bigger and more colourful than last i saw them.

"Very nice mew" I say to the mantis that just got his wings

"Keep up the mewing streak queen" I say to the decades old spider that keeps moulting after adulthood, she collects all her old fangs.

"L, plus no mewing streak" I say to the wasp that has complete metamorphisis before she ultra kills me very slowly.
