From runaway trains to flying trains to trains to Mars, all aboard my vintage locomotives gallery.
Mountain Head’s We Stole Your Head has been out for a moment (or more specifically, nearly a month), but it’s a debut you don’t want to miss out on. The rather mysterious new act, formed by two brothers who obviously harbor much love for wiry psych rock and sleek synthpop, state that We Stole Your Head is a reminder to be here now, to connect with life. “There are a lot of things out there looking to take your head and lead it down an endless labyrinth,” they say. Their slick driving anthem proceeds to straddle genre lines in an instantaneously hooking, potently resounding fashion. They’ve certainly stolen our ears and gotten in our heads with their song.
