they really are tbh. they've both talked about how their favorite trope is best friends to lovers, mary loves hotel transylvania and the description of their first meeting literally sounds like they zinged, they reveal their engagement on the 13th which like you said is their lucky numbers added up, and it was a day before valentine's day. soulmates do exist!
