disclaimer : these are all my own headcanons :]

who are they? the friend group which consists of emma, bronwyn, fiona, hugh, and millard from miss peregrine’s home for peculiar children!

how did they become friends? being the older kids within the loop, they naturally grew closer to each other over time.

what makes them so special? the trust and love they have for one another is immeasurable. they’ve truly been through so much together; they’ve seen each other grow, they’ve seen each other at their highs and lows. they know each others secrets and stories and everything few and far between.

something that is very significant to them is their understanding. everyone talks, everyone listens. they’re not just leaning on each other, but from the others, they’ve learned to be pillars that stand for the others. all in all, just supporting each other in every way possible.

more on that understanding aspect; possibly the most patient group of people you’ll ever meet when it comes to helping a friend out. it doesn’t matter what the situation is. it doesn’t matter how they’ll decide to handle it. they’ll listen and you bet they’ll be here through thick and thin, to guide one another from the dark depths of the tunnel to the light that greets them at the end.

E = Emotion (How are they with showing emotion in public versus private?)

She’s perfectly fine to show most emotion in public save for anything too vulnerable or considered improper. In private it still is entirely dependent on if she’s willing to open up to you at the moment. 

F = Flirt (How do they flirt? Are they smooth or awkward?)

Is very smooth up until you flirt back, you might not notice anything beyond a slight blush afterwards, but she will be trying to outdo your reply every single time. It still leans more on the side of smooth than it does awkward, but it’s entirely endearing. 

J = Jealousy (How jealous do they get? What do they do when they’re jealous?)

It’s not very often that she gets jealous considering the loop, but when she does it’s almost always from a person who she perceives as someone who can give you a life outside the loop. When she is jealous it’s not extremely obvious, but you notice a change in her demeanor and a sudden preference for finding an excuse to touch you (brushing nonexistent lint off your shoulder or resting her arm on yours are typically her go-tos).

L = Little ones (How are they around children?)

With other children that aren’t her own she’s less likely to be as strict and would rather let their ymbryne take over for any parenting to be done. But overall she’s insanely good with them, no matter the age or personality she can find something to bond over fairly quickly.

O = Open (When would they start revealing things about themselves? Do they say everything all at once or wait a while to reveal things slowly?)

It’s a very slow process with Alma and it’s not that she necessarily wants to keep everything from you, she just doesn’t feel rushed to tell you everything consider how much endless time you two have. But she will slowly open up about certain topics like her family (give it a decade or two), and because of the loop other topics like the fact that she’s a terrible driver may never come up because there’s no cars on Cairnholm.

I find the concept of Jacob and Y/N being meme lords and the other kids having no clue what’s happening super hilarious. (More stuff like this)

Like Jacob quoting parts of vines and Y/N finishing them. Or maybe they’re playing catch with some of the other kids and Y/N chucks the ball it at Jacob while shouting yeet super loud. Miss P. just gets mad and the other kids don’t get why both of you are laughing so much.

Snow Day

𝙰𝙽: Okay, so she's a minor character and was only in the book for two chapters, but I miss her, so here's some hc's feat. snowy weather because it's literally so cold where I live and this is how I'm coping.

𝚆𝚊𝚛𝚗𝚒𝚗𝚐𝚜: None, I think!

𝙿𝚊𝚒𝚛𝚒𝚗𝚐: Platonic! Althea + Reader

𝚆𝚘𝚛𝚍 𝙲𝚘𝚞𝚗𝚝: 431

                                                       ๑*˚🍓˚*๑

-So, it snowed

-And you wanted to go outside

-Althea is perfectly happy indoors reading a book with a lavender latte

-But you weren't about to stay inside all day

-Especially when it was perfect weather for snowballs

-Plus, you got some new gloves

-So you obviously need to flaunt them

-With some convincing, you got her to come outside with you

-But you had to pick a coat that went with your gloves

-And a scarf that goes with your coat

-And boots that go with your scarf

-The list goes on

-she's wondering how she became friends with you

-she could practically hear your response in her head

- "Because I'm fabulous, Thea! Why else?"

-Anyway, you managed to get outside eventually

-And your outfit was iconic

-It's fairly calm at first

-You walked around a bit

-And just looked at some snow

-And wondered how she's not freezing

-She's literally wearing a dress and some tights

-But then

-Oh boy

-She turned to look at something

-And an idea hit you

-A few seconds later, your snowball flew through the air

-It hit her back

-She turned around with a terrifying look on her face

-For a second you thought you made a mistake and got ready to apologize

-Or run for your life

-Until you felt something cold and hard on your cheek

-She was holding a snowball

-And now had the hint of a smile on her face

-You shrieked and ran

-But at this point she was chasing you

-And this girl is fast

-Plus ice doesn't make running easy

- You got hit with that snowball

-And many others

-You forgot she could literally make ice/snow if she wanted to

-Eventually you flopped into the snow

-She stared down at you

-"What are you doing?"

-"Snow angels! They're fun!"

-She lay down beside you and made one too

-You both just lay in the snow for a few seconds

-And then you got cold

-So you went inside

-And made hot cocoa

-You put a candy cane in yours

-Althea thinks peppermint in hot cocoa is a crime against humanity

-So she only puts marshmallows in hers

-You spend the rest of the day drinking cocoa and talking

Treehouse

There was a beautiful tree in the garden, perfect for a treehouse. It was Fiona and Hugh's idea and they got helped by Bronwyn and her brother. Claire and Olive were the most excited about the project and they were waiting for Miss peregrine's permission. When they got it, they started to build it which made curious the other kids who weren't apart of the building process. It took a couple of weeks but they did it. Fi put flowers a bit everywhere and Wyn brought some furnitures. Everyone loved the treehouse.

Wyn,Claire and Olive were probably the ones using it the most, they were making tea parties all the time and everyone was invited, except Enoch because of that one time when he thought it would be funny to replace the tea with bl0od, he was not allowed in the treehouse anymore. Horace went once, he got a splinter, we never saw him up there ever again. Millard came only when there was no one in the treehouse to read in peace, he didn't mind when Fi and Hugh were also here, they're calm. Emma and Abe would stay on the balcony and watch what happens in the garden thanks to the view it gave, sometimes in silent, sometimes talking. Victor followed his sister and his boyfriend Millard everywhere so if one of them was there, you could be sure he was with them or at least near the tree.

(I realise now it's probably impossible for them to build the treehouse and use it because of the loop but I thought it was cute)
