Mutualistic Attraction/ Relationship

(General mutualistic attraction flags)

Mutualistic attraction is a type of attraction that is only felt under the circumstance that it will benefit two (or more) parties.

For example; Only getting a crush, or feeling romantic attraction, if it would benefit all parties involved. In this example, the mutualistic attraction felt would be romantic or RMA (Romantic mutualistic attraction).

A mutualistic relationship could happen for multiple reasons for example;

* An exclusively WLW person could get into a RMR (Romantic mutualistic relationship) with an exclusively MLM person due to having an extremely homophobic environment to appear ‘straight’ or to be close enough to help each other out.

* Two aplatonic people may be in a PMR (Platonic mutualistic relationship) only when they feel they need to fill their social need or want to share information with someone.

Though this is technically more of a describer for already established attraction and relationship types; it may be used as its own. Really, it can be its own undefinable thing as long as it’s in the context of all parties involved benefiting.

These types of relationships may be long term or extremely short term.

And this type of attraction may be affected by being waveric

Guthrie’s Shakespeare project breaks the (recent) mold

Richard II, Henry IV and Henry V will be on the Guthrie stage in a unique way this spring.

There’s an ambitious project taking shape at the Guthrie. They are staging three Shakespeare plays, all at the same time, with one core cast of actors. It’s called “Rotating Repertory Theater” and the Guthrie hasn’t done it since 1998.

In regards to the Merrick Prime Republic's stance on Voltron:

The MPR has made it very clear that they are openly hostile towards Voltron and consider it entering MPR controlled territory as an act of war.

While they know the odds of destroying Voltron aren't great when the Empire and Zarkon himself couldn't, they also know that their situation is a bit different and have planned for it. Voltron more or less won through a surprise attack directly at the top of Galra leadership which created a power vacuum and splinter groups.

The MPR isn't planning on starting a war with Voltron any time soon but they do already have several plans in place to handle a war with them should one ever start.

Theron Windor, before becoming Lord Protector of the MPR, made a name for himself as an expert in siege warfare and his use of spy networks. His Plan A for a war with Voltron is:

Avoid the scenario that gave Voltron the win to begin with. Voltron largely succeeded through several surprise attacks that immediately destroyed the Empire's highest ranking commander and lead straight to an attack directly against the Emperor himself.

Merrick Prime was already an Empire stronghold thanks to its two planet-bound Skybreaker Cannons and large defensive fleet. Since the fall of the Empire the planet has begun construction on multiple defensive stations as well as a substantial defense bunker for the MPR's leadership- Theron included.

With Theron's safety handled, they have also begun reverse-engineering and constructing the Planetkiller Cannon from Theron's flagship. It was experimental tech that was deemed too wasteful during the Empire's time as destroying an entire planet would sacrifice quite a lot of resources. But it is the perfect threat against Voltron. With the cannons already under construction several quick strike fleets have already begun training for synchronized strikes across multiple systems- guaranteeing Voltron cannot stop them all and causing untold losses throughout the universe.

Everybody involved is aware that it is a terrifying strategy in terms of the massive amount of innocent lives lost. But it is also an extremely effective deterrent.

In the mean time, the MPR continues to expand its territory, utilizing its spy network to overthrow pro-Voltron governments, its resources to entice struggling or previously pro-Galra planets, its army to back MPR-friendly rebels / factions, and its navy to blockade pro-Voltron planets, as well as hunting down any groups that had a hand in overthrowing the Empire. The larger a buffer they can create and the more support they can gather, the more difficult of a time Voltron would have in a war against them.
