I’m furious with what is happening here. None of this is ok. The Gestapo thugs are endangering us in every imaginable way, but we still have our humanity.
If I can find the energy I’d love to make a Linocut out of this once I get it cleaned up.
Get the fuck out of our state, fascists!
MAGA is attacking a thriving Blue State.
The rapist is abusing another innocent victim.
Hey there, Minnesotan here.
Are you outside of Minnesota, but want to know what’s going on with the ICE occupation? Check out:
On Site a local independent news organization covering accurate news here.
Toussaint Morrison, who writes for On Site but has a lot of good coverage
Georgia Fort, an independent journalist covering what’s happening on the ground
1/15/26: Adding Chad Davis’ blog here, a photographer documenting what’s going on in Minneapolis
And of course, the videos being posted directly to social media from people on the ground.
National news is not covering everything that’s happening here. (Almost like that’s on purpose.) But these are helpful, local sources to Minnesota to provide an accurate depiction of what’s really happening here.
Are you outside of Minnesota and looking to help?
Donate to the Minnesota Immigrant Rights Action Committee
MN ICE Watch not only sends updates about federal activity, but also highlights individuals affected where you can donate or send help to our neighbors impacted by ICE.
Stand With Minnesota highlights a lot of places to offer financial support and mutual aid.
These links go to those sources’ Instagram profiles or websites. And I will edit this post with more, it’ll remain a living document.
A final note: You may have seen posts on social media about what it’s like here. Believe them. It is that bad. It is that scary. They are kicking doors down. They are demanding to see identity papers if you’re simply walking on the street.
My sister is a teacher, and they were driving around her school yesterday. A middle school.
They are offering people money to out undocumented immigrants or protest organizers. That link is a firsthand account of someone who was detained, and asked those very questions.
They are taking our neighbors.
This is an occupation.
I don’t have a lot of followers, so hoping the tags can help spread this far and wide.
First hand accounts on the devastation ICE is causing Minnesota. And with the 1000 more of those losers that came that I talked about yesterday, there are more of them than actual police officers there. That is fucking sad.
And I want everyone to remember that ALL of this started because of this assclown
As far as I’m concerned, Renee Good’s blood is on his hands.
There’s nothing we need more in 2026 than a rise in prominence from the Black Panthers
Please if you have a chance, report this GoFundMe!
Here’s the Report Fundraiser link: https://www.gofundme.com/contact/suggest/fraud
And here’s the ICE agent’s GoFundMe which you’ll need to copy and paste into the report: https://www.gofundme.com/f/ice-offuver-jonathan-ross
Do not forget the other victims of ICE
as much as we must mourn and stand in solidarity with Renee Nicole Good, please do not forget the other victims of ice raids, who are not white. Silverio Villegas González, a cook from mexico who was dropping his son off at daycare and was murdered Jaime Alanis, a farmer from mexico who fell off a green house at the farm where he worked to send money to his wife and daughter Roberto Carlos Montoya Valdez, a father and grandfather from Guatemala who was hit by a car Josué Castro Rivera, a garden from Honduras who was struck by a car And so many others who were killed or are dying in detention centres, prisons ect racial bias is always something we must be aware of, Renee will be focused on because she was a white woman and a US citizen, but do not forget all the other victims of ICE, may they all rest in power
Posting on 1/13/2026
This website has changed a lot in the past twelve years. I remember being on here in 2014 when Mike Brown was murdered and everything was happening in Ferguson. Every other post on this site was about current events and what was happening there.
Now MN is under occupation of untrained, violent white supremacists who are beating, pepper spraying, and kidnapping citizens and noncitizens alike, with the president threatening to invoke the insurrection act and unleash elite paratroopers from Alaska on the general populace—and there’s hardly a peep. I’ve not seen Minnesota or Minneapolis trending even once since Renee Good was murdered by Jonathan Ross.
Anyway, if you’re American and give a singular shit at all, call your representatives and tell them to defund the DHS and abolish ICE before congress’s big circlejerk on January 30th where they decide ICE’s budget for the next year.
Here are some places to donate to support Minneapolis communities:
Community Aid Network MN
MN Immigrant Rights Action Committee
Take your pick from the Minneapolis Mutual Aid Linktree
when we start prosecuting ice agents we need to put them on a registry like we do for sex offenders no drivers licenses no freedom of movement absolutely jackshit for state sponsered nazis. if I believe in re-education camps for one group that group is ice agents
During her two days in immigration detention, a St. Paul woman who was born in Minnesota said she “put her faith in God” and prayed after su
This was originally published by another local paper, the Pioneer Press. I’m linking it from Yahoo so it’s not paywalled.
Nasra is a Somali citizen, born in Hennepin county, is who was tormented for multiple days because of her specific ethnicity. Even Somali communities here are absolutely being targeted because of a right wing propaganda campaign attempting to falsely paint them as disproportionately committing fraud with state funds.
I’m so glad she’s home and I am grateful to her for sharing her experience.
