really need for people to realise that fictional characters are fictional characters and their actions are dictated by real people making choices for them. "well in real life it would be fine if character did [x] thing" yes well they're not real!!! they don't have agency!! in real life it's fine if a woman chooses to keep a baby, that's literally what being pro-choice is all about, but in fiction i can count on one hand the amount of tv shows that have done abortion storylines, despite the fact that abortion is normal and common and the right to have one literally needs to be fought for in certain countries. and so of course a tv show yet again choosing to have a character keep a baby despite the fact that it barely fits the character is disappointing to some people
