I really do wonder if Hanekoma’s involvement with taboo was ever brought to light.

Like on the one hand, I kind of feel that Hanekoma wouldn’t do *that* much to hide it, he’ll do whatever it takes to protect shibuya but I don’t think he’d put much effort in avoiding the consequences. The anime, as dubious as it is, also has Joshua aware, and if he found out others may have too -- but those are super tentative conjectures, and I don’t put much stock in the anime

On the other hand, Hanekoma’s still watching over shibuya and able to demand reports from the higher plane. He got plenty of bureaucratic run around, but was still in a position where ultimately that was heeded.

It just seems in neo ‘no interference’ actually means ‘no interference’ and not ‘well yes I saved beat and rhyme by storing rhyme’s soul in a pin and giving it to beat, but that’s totally not interfering, and the extensive influence over the composer’s proxy is something that any well meaning totally normal human barista / grafitti artist could have done’ bs (I love you mr h, but even sans minamimoto-taboo mess you totally interfered).

Like it almost seems to me like the higher plane just told Hanekoma ‘no touching’ (Kubo? Who-bo? We have no idea what he’s doing!) and generally gave him the cold shoulder after the first twewy game, and that seems too light if they knew he was fallen, and evidence that they do know is lacking, at least as far as I’m aware.

But yeah, there’s nothing solid one way or another in a new day or neo about what others knew about Hanekoma’s actions during twewy, and we have scant little information on his current status, twewy mysteries for days. Do you guys think Hanekoma’s ‘crimes’ were known?
