★ ONE PIECE | e64 + e65 ★ OPLA | s2e3 "Whisky Business"
Maenad: *continuing to slide down the braids of Miss Mother's Day, but struggling to keep her balance*
Tombs: Mae, hop off here! *waits for Maenad to jump to the comparative safety of a ledge and shifts into hybrid form to grab one of Miss Mother's Day's braids and swing her shrieking into the side of the ziggurat*
Miss Mother's Day: *clawing her way out* YOU'RE DEAD, YOU SPOTTED FREAK!!!
Tombs: *beset upon by a swarm of bees as she and Maenad begin to be pummeled again by the braids*
Mr. 6: *snickering as he hides under the shelter of some rocks* They can't sting what they can't see!
???: Need a light?
Mr. 6: Nah, mate that defeats the whole poin- *slowly turns in the direction of the voice*
Ace: *grinning cheekily with his finger alight* Hi. 😁
Mr. 6: *screams as he runs out of the rocks on fire and then pursued by the bees* NO! GET HIM! NOT ME! THERE'S MORE STINGING AREA ON HIS STUPID GORGEOUS ABS THAN MINE!!!
Miss Mother's Day: Fire Fist!
Tombs: He's out of the cuffs?!
Maenad: *guilty chuff*
Miss Mother's Day: Doesn't matter! He's mine now! *copies Carla's technique of targetting the ceiling to try and send a sand shower down upon Ace*
Ace: *zips around the battlefield in fire form* Whoa! Now that's not very nice. Somebody could get sand in their eye!
Miss Mother's Day: *sending her braids after Ace* You won't have any eyes left after I GOUGE THEM OUT OF YOUR SKULL!!!
Ace: Here's a little tip. *touches one braid immediately setting it and the others alight, making Miss Mother's Day scream in terrified rage* Swinging your hair around an open flame? Not the brightest move.
Miss Mother's Day: YOU LITTLE BASTARD!!!! I'LL KILL-
Tombs: *heaves up a massive piece of the ruins and flings it at Miss Mother's Day, knocking her away*
Mr. 6: *still running screaming from the bees until Maenad headbutts him in a different direction* Hah... hah... thanks, loooOUAAAAHAH *is immediately slammed into by the still burning Miss Mother's Day as the two of them punch through another tunnel and descend screaming into the dark*
Maenad: *screeches disdainfully before spitting down the tunnel*
Ace: What did she say?
Tombs: I'd tell you, but it's banned in eight countries. This one included.

Okay, I know it’s silly but this is really interesting to me.
One of the reasons I love Baroque Works as an organization is the fact that half of the agents are women, which in turn helps with character design. As a big fan of writing and drawing characters myself, I gotta say: diversity is kind of a cheat code. If you can only draw one character, just reimagining them as fat, skinny, muscular, huge, tiny, a different gender, a different race, a different age, with different skills and abilities and disabilities, you’ve got a ton of new ideas and new ways to make your characters stand out. Oda really embraces that with the women of Baroque Works, as I’ve pointed out before, but he really could do more.
So far, we’ve met three humanoid species: humans, fishmen and now giants. Spoiler alert, but every single one of the Baroque Works agents we are yet to meet are humans. There’s your occasional pet like Banchi and really interesting, cool fighting styles and weapons like we’ve seen with Peacock Slashers and Colors Traps. But all the big players in the villain org here are human beings. We never see Mr. 6 or Miss Mother’s Day, but it’s safe to assume the highest non-human pair is the Unluckies.
How cool would it be to see a giant Baroque Works agent? Okay, maybe being super huge isn’t the best for an organization of bounty hunters and assassins, but neither is having a giant three on your head. Long ago I designed a Miss Mother’s Day who I may some day revisit, but now I wanna see a fishman for Mr. 6. Oda has made a world where we can have the coolest designs.

If you ever have one of those moments where you wish for "the good ol' days" or you have no faith for the younger generation, this movie is a good watch. Don't worry, there's English subtitles!
