set out to write about the Beavers being the last beavers of Narnia and then ended up mostly writing about the social structure of Narnian beavers... And also Deer for some reason, don't know how that happened, but that didn't make it past the first draft

Right after the Search, Azula is currently wandering a frozen forest by herself.

Azula: Oh. Of COURSE the Forbidden Valley has a frozen wasteland section. What's next? The entire ocean gets pissed off at me and tries to drown me?!

A beaver scurries out from behind a tree and waddles up to Azula curiously. While it looks around with a nervousness in its eyes, Azula readies a fire dagger behind her back for dinner preparation.

Mr Beaver: ...um...you look lost there. Need some help?

Azula gets a dead look in her eyes before dramatically falling back on the snow with her arms outstretched.

Mr Beaver: 'Ey! You alright?

Azula: (her eyes wide and completely dead) Do not talk to me. You are simply the last thread of my sanity giving way to the madness brought upon by my life and by the cold.

Raises her arms to the sky.

Azula: Take me now, Lord Agni. I ask for sweet release.

Mr Beaver: ...

Proceeds to whack her in the face with his tail.

Azula: OW! What the heck is that for?!

Mr Beaver: Oh good! You're still lucid. Now come with me before you start rambling again. Not good for a young'un such as yourself to be out in the cold for this long.

Azula, utterly defeated, sighs and follows the rodent.

       ‘ “ Dear Mr. & Mrs. Beaver:             Merry holiday greetings, my dear friends; it is with great joy that I send            this to you both this day, as a young reminder of all we have seen             together, & all of what, I am sure, we shall see in future, to invite you             both, as highly esteemed guests of honour, to sit beside Susan & I in            the annual Cair Paravel Christmas Ball & Banquet, to be held upon             the twenty fifth day of the first winter month.            We would love your presence beside us, for you are very dear friends            to all four of us; & that very theme, friendship, is the very same that            Susan has chosen for this year’s annual ball.
