Mr. Catington’s Flashback Diary V

Dear Diary,

good news. I have a name. They decided to call me “Mr. Catington”. I think Raymond didn’t like the idea but Dembe and a lady called Mr. Kaplan liked it so much that Raymond gave in. Mr. Kaplan is a very lovely lady. I even let her cuddle me for a minute. I’ve been here a week now and Raymond noticed that I don’t like him wearing his hat so he doesn’t wear it around me anymore. Now I really like him more and more each day. He’s a good human! Last night I sneaked into his bedroom at night slept at the foot of his bed. I could see he was happy when he woke up on the morning and saw me there. I have a feeling things are going to be just fine with those people. Bye bye, a very happy Mr. Catington

AU: Is there any good smelling ladies in Red's life yet that you know of yet?

I met askelizabethscottkeen twice when she was at our apartment and she smells veeeery nice. But Raymond does not bring ladies home with him. He says the apartment is our secret place and that it is safer for me if no one knows about it. I know that he meets other ladies though because I can smell them on his clothes. Some of them smell very sweet and saucy, but others smell of deceit and danger. I try to warn him about the latter but sometimes he won’t listen.

Mr. Catington’s Flashback Diary IV

Dear Diary,

from what I have overheard I think hat-man’s name is askraymondreddington and the guy who doesn’t talk much is called askdembezuma. I’ve been hiding behind the armchair all day observing them. I’m beginning to believe they are truly friendly humans. At least the apartment is nice an warm. Raymond bought me some toys. They look very tempting but I feel like I should stay behind the armchair just a little while longer. Just to be absolutely sure they won’t hurt me.

Mr. Catington’s Flashback Diary III

Dear Diary,

I don’t know where to start. It’s been a very eventful day. The man with the hat was here again today but he wasn’t alone. He brought another man with him. That second man didn’t talk much which I liked about him because that made him a lot less scary than hat-man. They had one of those transport boxes with them and they tried to catch me but I was quicker than them and so I ran outside of the apartment and they came after me. And suddenly I was standing on the fire espace - I don’t even remember how I got there but it was the most frightening thing that ever happened to me. It was so high up. And then scary hat-man came crawling through the window with the transport box and the fire escape started shaking. I was very very scared. But then his hat fell all the way down landing in the street and he didn’t look as scary anymore, he actually looked very nice and I didn’t mind him coming closer. He was opening the box and I reckoned it would be safer to go with him instead of staying on the fire escape for the rest of my nine lives. So long story short - I am at hat-man’s apartment now with him and the other guy. They gave me food and water and the quiet man even went out to get me a very luxurious litter box. I still don’t fully trust them and don’t want them to touch me because humans can be evil.
