Been learning how to do greenscreen stuff and decided to see if there were any KF2 models I could use in garrys mod so I could get a better view of em since up to now i’ve just used screenshots, official renders and official art to get references, and I ended up clowning around as usual. 

Here are the results.

Game Theory: Mrs. Foster may have short hair

It’s kinda dumb using up time to put this theory together, but bear with me.

Now I’m no expert on gas masks and the like, so this theory is based solely on observation. Alright, here we go!

As I was browsing the community hub for Killing Floor 2 on Steam, I came across an interesting bit of fanart depicting how Mrs. Foster looked like without her gas mask. In the image she had her hair moved back and fashioned into long ponytail. While the art did look nice, it got me thinking that her hair might be shorter than how it was depicted. If her hair was longer, surely we might have seen  some of it reach outside of the gas mask itself. Observe the following two stock photos below:

As we can see, the gas masks shown above are similar to the one worn by Mrs. Foster in both Killing Floor 1 & 2 (shown below)

By observing the two stock photos, we see that the hair tends to stick out of the gas mask and rest on the shoulders as long hair usually does. If it was in a bun or something similar, it may have still been outside the mask, or it may bulge from the mask as the head wear clings to the head

We know for certain that this is not the case for Mrs. Foster in the first Killing Floor just by observing these screenshots below:

In both angles, no hair is shown sticking out of the gas mask, leading to the possibility of Mrs. Foster having a short haircut much like her husband, Mr. Foster (shown below)

In Killing Floor 2, however, it is a bit uncertain as to what her hair length may be due to another piece of head wear.

By observing the image above, we see that there is something covering the entirety of her neck. We also notice that there is now a seam along the back of the gas mask closed by two straps. By giving the seam a closer look, we can see that whatever is covering her neck is seen through the seam, leading to the conclusion that she is wearing some form of hood that covers her head with the exception of the face (she has to see through the gas mask, after all). This could mean she either does have slightly longer hair which is covered by the hood, though I am not wholly convinced that this is the case. In conclusion, I would like to say that it is most likely that Mrs. Foster does have a short haircut beneath her gas mask on account from what was observed in the first and second installments of the Killing Floor franchise.
