š”: A sick headcanon with Javi (Im going with my The Favor series version of Javi cause I can and no one can stop me XD )
When Javier is sick, the man just plows through it and has a really good immune system to boot
Never uses sick days, doesnāt like taking meds since they āmess with his headā
At most he takes some extra power naps to recharge before picking back up were he started
But when you get sick, like absolutely laid out by the same cold that hardly effected him?
He is very concerned, like he is NOT used to his S/O huddled under a pile of blanketed in fricking Colombia
First thing he does is freakout internally for a moment, he knows what HE does when he is sick (just about nothing) but you obviously need more then that
Next thing he does is call his mom, the woman who always knew how to take care of him and his family when they were sick
Thankfully, Texas is in the same timezone (or just an hour different) than Colombia so he isnāt calling at like 3 AM
She is very amused at how stressed he sounds (some might not be able to tell but she is his MOTHER she knows Javi too well), it sounds like you just have a bad head cold nothing too terrible, but Javi listens to her carefully making a list of everything he needs to run to the store for and asked questions about what he should do if you symptoms do get worse
After hanging up he gets you some liquids and puts on your favorite tv show or movie
He then makes the quickest store run he has EVER gone on bringing back cold medication, vaporub, ginger-ale if your tummy is hurting, some easy foods to eat like jello, pudding, crackers and soup for when you feel up to eat, and a ton of tissues
He is sort of terrible in that he will make sure you are staying hydrated, almost to the point of being too pushy
But if you are just drained and need to take a nap? He isnāt afraid to let you snuggle your shivering body into his warm one, if he is going to get sick he just knows he isnāt going to be this sick
He doesnāt ever tell you how relieved he was when your fever broke but he just was so relived he couldnāt help breath a sigh of heavy relief that you are finally on the mend
