Re-read MTCPT again the other day, blacked out, and now there’s a bunch of sketches of these weird tax fellas.
I think it’s really funny that Sanders is lowkey really into British culture (mostly the old fashioned stuff, like Pride and Prejudice or 1810s England). Hyper fixated so hard his face got stuck with one expression for the rest of his life like British guards 💀
Anyway, I got curious about what the time between the old and new comic looked like for them, just silly scenarios of them slowly changing their appearance and dynamic. I imagine Sanders puts a lot of effort into how he looks while Jock doesn’t gaf.
They also mellowed out a lot 😭 those guys couldn’t go 5 seconds without beating the shit out of each other.
I find the idea cute that Jock used to be super intrigued about Sanders face stuck being unexpressive, but at some point he just got use to it and went “lol ur face is strange but I love it”.
Speaking of the past, I revisited their teenage designs I made ages ago from my first MTCPT post. Not far off from the old designs, took those ideas and improved upon them (mostly better art <_< u won’t catch me liking my old MTCPT fanart).
Quick side note: absolutely love web archive, I still can’t believe the old MTCPT was (mostly) preserved. I just think it’s super neat :D I like when art is preserved, even a niche webcomic from the 2010s.
