No spoilers, but More Than Meets the Eye #50? Got-damn. Excellent work from all involved.

It really irked me that Getaway and co. not only set up a mutiny to get rid of the “Megatron-friendly/neutral” people, but also contacted the DJD to kill them off. I wonder if all the bots on Getaway’s side know about the DJD. Do they really hate the others so much that kicking them off ship is not enough?

Also, I think Getaway’s true motive is about getting power, not those seemly reasonable “I can’t stand Megatron getting away from what his did”. I mean, if he really hates Megatron so much, he, as a master spy, can easily sneak into Megatron’s room and shoot him. Rewind from the other Lost Light killed Megatron in the Elegant Chaos arc. Even though we later found out that the spark he extinguished isn’t Megatron’s true spark, Rewind still pulled the trigger because he can’t stand the death and destruction that come along with Megatron. I don’t think the LL would sentence Getaway even if he did shot Megatron. They were more concerned about Rewind when he killed Megatron back then, after all. So it’s not like Getaway would have to pay some serious price either.

I think even though Getaway used those pretty words of “justice” to get most of the crew on his side and claimed it his personal justified reason, in fact, he is just using the crew’s mutual hate on Megatron and unsatisfy of Rodimus to get the crowd on his side so that he can take over the Lost Light. It’s never about how he personally hates Megatron, it’s about him wanting to get power. He is more dangerous than everyone thinks. He doesn’t just manipulate individual, he can also manipulate the crowd. That’s pretty scary.
