I really truly believe I am losing my mucus plug.
It’s crazy that with Madeline I was like is that my mucus plug? And still with this one I feel the same lol. Like you’d think I know, but nah I have no fucking idea wtf I should be looking for lol.
I woke up this morning (tmi) and as I stood still I just felt like what felt like a blob like come out of my vagina and he and I just had sex so naturally I was like oh it’s ya know his ejaculation (sorry tmi) but no I go to the restroom and it’s like more mucus and I’m like okay I know for a fact that is not what His you know looks like lol. And then all day today I’ve just felt her against my cervix and I have contractions here and there. I’m really hoping she comes soon lol. I wanna meet her so bad. 💕✨
TMI!
Might have lost my mucus plug?? When I got up this morning to pee, I wiped and there was quite a bit of discharge speckled with blood. So I wiped again, and there was a jelly looking glob quite thick, more specks. About two fingers in width and length-ish. Wiped again and just little bits of mucus and specks.
Went about my morning and peed later, again little blobs of mucus with specks of blood.
Fingers crossed?! 😚😚 Achey kind of period like cramps, but I had this last week after my first sweep, so I might be hallucinating things. 🤔
Had my bloody show.
👉🏼 Was super active today , I think lol
👉🏼 Did the rest of Penelope’s laundry that’s here at the apartment.
👉🏼 Folded & put it all where it needs to be.
👉🏼 Having some decent contractions wishing they would stay consistent!
👉🏼 Officially pregnant longer than I was with Madeline!
👉🏼 Have an appointment tomorrow @ 11:15. Hoping they’ll say just go to the hospital lol. Ready for this girl to be here!
👉🏼 Now just waiting for my boyfriend to get here to massage me like the spoiled brat I am lmaoo.
👉🏼 OH MY BLOODY SHOW. Yeah after all this I went to the potty like maybe an hour now ago and had good amounts of blood in my mucus. My mom was like good maybe your water will break tonight lol. One can hope right!? 🤞🏼😂💖

I wrote this long post, but long story short , I may be losing my mucus plug!
So here’s to hoping for an impending labor! ❤️✨💖
What To Do After Losing Mucus Plug
Losing your mucuz plug can indicate that labor is approaching. For some ladies, this can feel overwhelming as they attempt to speed up the labor process. Fortunately, there are techniques that can assist in accelerating labor after losing the mucus plug. In this post, we'll explore some techniques that can assist in expediting labor.
1. Keep getting moving.
Keeping moving can greatly accelerate labor. This is due to the fact that movement can assist in urging the baby to descend into the pelvis and prepare the body for labor. Walking, squatting, and pelvic rocking are all good options for helping induce labor. Nevertheless, it is crucial to listen to your body and avoid overdoing it.
2. Remember to stay hydrated.
Dehydration can impede labor, therefore it is recommended to consume ample fluids. Water, coconut water, and herbal tea are all good options to drink. Avoid consuming sweetened drinks as well as caffeine as they can dehydrate you. You can learn more about how to speed up labor after losing mucus plug on our site.
3. The use of essential oils can be beneficial in promoting labor.
There are numerous essential oils that can be used to accelerate labor. Clary sage oil has been found to be effective in triggering contractions. Other oils which can be helpful include lavender oil, peppermint oil, and jasmine oil, respectively.
4. Get a therapist massage!
Massage can assist in relaxing muscles and stimulating contractions. A gentle massaging of the lower back, thighs, and abdomen can assist in relieving tension. Nevertheless, it is recommended to refrain from deep tissue massage as it can cause contractions that are too strong.
5. The use of a birthing ball can assist in varying positions during labor.
Using a birthing ball during labor can be beneficial as it allows the mother to move and change positions. Sitting on resuscitation balls can open up the heart and allow for the baby to descend. It can be helpful to lean over the ball during contractions. Visit our website to learn how to speed up labor after losing mucus plug.
6. Give acupuncture a go.
Acupuncture has proven to increase the release of oxytocin during labor. This hormone acts to stimulate contractions and pushes the baby down. However, it is crucial to select an acupuncturist who has been specifically trained to treat pregnant women.
7. Relax
Relaxing as much as possible is important to avoid slowed labor. Meditation, deep breathing, and visualization can all be helpful during labor and delivery. It can be beneficial to listen to calming music and take warm baths for relaxation.
In conclusion, losing your mucus plug can signal that labor is approaching. There are many effective techniques to facilitate labor, including staying active, staying hydrated, using essential oils, getting a massage, using a birthing ball, trying acupuncture, and relaxing. However, it is essential to remember that every woman's labor experience is unique, and there is no one-size-fits-all solution. It is crucial to consult with your healthcare provider and listen to your body to determine what works best for you.
