Hi Tribe.
Some of you will know that, tomorrow, my youngest and I will be taking part in a charity 5k muddy run. We're doing it to raise money for Cancer Research UK. We're doing it.....
I won't pretend that I'm not nervous. I've had a cold for over a week and have a hacking cough because of it. I have asthma. It's mild but it's a worry with the cough and the predicted high humidity for tomorrow. But I have the support of some wonderful people. My good friend @instructor144 has taken his time to pour a splash of his good bourbon to Ogma the Strong, and assures me that Ogma will be with me tomorrow. I believe him. I've no doubt that my Magpies will be too. If I can run it, I will! If I have to walk some of it, I will! If I have to crawl some of it, I will! As well as everyone and everything else that will be in my heart and mind, @submissive-seeking will be there too. Run, walk, or crawl, I will finish!

Before I got ridiculously muddy..

Muddy Run is located in Southern Lancaster County and is a relaxing way to spend a day or even a week in a peaceful natural panorama.
This is one of our family’s favorite places to spend the day.
It is a great place to take the kids.
In addition to several playground areas there is also a visitor’s center with interesting things to see, do and touch.
Children will also enjoy hiking along the many scenic trails with their family.
For the more adventuresome, there is a variety of boats and kayaks to rent for an hour or an entire day for anything from exercise, sight-seeing or fishing.
The beauty of this expansive man-made lake is amazing!
And both land and water are abundant with wildlife. We often see deer while picnicking .
Many family picnics were spent in this clean, beautiful park!
There are grills scattered throughout the park. All you need is the charcoal!
If you wish to stay more than one day, there is an campground on site to use both campers and tents.
Muddy run is located in southern Lancaster County on Route 372 west near the Buck.
Happen to be in the area? Well, pack up a picnic lunch and head over to the park!

Started training for this today, I’m not into running at all. My mum signed me up, it’s muddy so it should be fun! Tbh I just wanted to run to the gym and weightlift, new sports clothes from mum made me feel good though :)
