So I wanted to combine my thoughts on both Ichi the Witch and Shinobi Undercover’s chapters this week because both of them oddly enough feature the protagonist’s friend’s older sister as a focus.

When Gokuraku said that he wasn’t going to go with Ichi I knew that Richia was going to talk to him about it(yeah I know it hasn’t happened yet but we all know that’s why she came to his room at the end). But seeing her be such a cool sister to him puts her as one of my favorite side characters now.

But meanwhile it’s to nobody’s surprise that Mukudori does care about Umineko. She was just doing it the wrong way. I’m hoping at the end of the arc she’ll try to make things right and make amends with him. May be a training arc so that she knows he can protect himself. Honestly I’d just like to see her do something to redeem herself more than a lot of other “jerk older siblings who were only acting that way” characters. Looking at you Nozel from Black Clover.
