Guide to Guilt Hayner/Pence/Olette/HPO

Hey, Lucky and Salt

First off, happy (belated?) birthday, Salt (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:・ﾟ✧

Secondly, I wanted to share a guide I made regarding the number of Medals people should at least get to make guilted versions of the Union Cross Medals (Hayner/Pence/Olette/HPO) if you don’t mind sharing it (I hope I submitted this to the right place 😅)

To Guilt Hayner/Pence/Olette

2 Base Medals 5 Medals for Orbs 10 Medals for Evolution

Total: 17 Medals for each Medal

To Guilt HPO

There are two methods to do this, so I’ll list them both

Method 1:

Note: You’ll have to make two copies of HPO in order to get the Nova

6 Base Medals (2 Hayners, 2 Pences, 2 Olettes)

5 Medals for Orbs (Doesn’t matter what you choose, just make one of the 6 Base Medals 3-Orbed and another one with 2 Orbs)

IMPORTANT: The Medals you’ll Orb will be the base for your HPOs, so make sure these are the ones you will evolve!!

30 Medals for Evolution (10 Hayners, 10 Pences, 10 Olettes)

6 Seasalt Ice Cream Medals

Total: 47 Medals

Method 2:

Go about it as if you wanted to make Hayner or Pence or Olette until you get a decent trait and/or guilt (This will need 17 Medals)

Note: Don’t Max Guilt the medal or you will LOSE the Nova for HPO

Next thing, you’ll need:

5 Base Medals (If you, for example, made a Pence in the step before, then, you’ll need 1 Pence, 2 Hayners and 2 Olettes)

25 Medals for Evolution

6 Seasalt Ice Cream Medals

Total: 53 Medal

It does require more medals, but some people may find this way better if they didn’t want to farm extra hard for guilt and traits on HPO

Actually, there is 1 more method in getting guilt on HPO and increase Nova level.

Once you get a trait on a 5 star H/P/O medal, evo it to 6 stars and have the traited H/P/O medal guilted, just make sure it is not at max guilt. Then evo the guilted H/P/O medal to HPO, and the guilt should carry over. Use Mirrors to increase the guilt and have it activate the nova leveling.

Just to clarify about how nova leveling will work with this method (using Hayner ver. B [S] as the base medal in the example): If you have a 95% guilted Hayner ver. B [S] and evo it to HPO [M] (make sure to use this Hayner ver. B [S] as base, the HPO [M] medal will obtain the 95% guilt it had when it was Hayner ver. B [S]. However, when you evo the 95% Hayner B [S] to HPO [M], it won’t give you a +1 nova. You need to feed the guilted HPO [M] at least 1 mirror to unlock the +1 nova. If you max out the HPO [M] using mirrors, you’ll also obtain +5 nova as well. 

Do note that if you use a 100% guilted Hayner ver. B [S] and then evo it to HPO [M], you can NOT increase your Nova level with mirrors because it is already at max guilt. You might be able to unlock the +6 nova from a max guilt HPO [M] using this method by feeding it another HPO [M].

Note: You might need more Medals for traits and guilt, but this is the minimum amount needed. Hopefully, you won’t need more

Note 2: Best traits for all these Medals are Extra Attack 40% or +2000 Defense. Also +800 HP can be nice, but Extra Attack 40% is the best imo

Actually, the best trait you should try to get is extra attack/double attack. The HPO medals are great to turtle against really high level enemies.

I think the best way to obtain HPO with double attack is by having either H/P/O at 5 stars with double attack and then evo it into HPO. Since the Twilight Town Trio and Ice cream will circle three times (that is, they will have their own individual days) for the next couple of weeks, I recommend using the first 4 bonus times to try and get double attack. It is on the last 2 bonus times that you should try to obtain enough copies to evo the medals to 6 stars and HPO.

Multi-player Tanks

There is only one thing better then getting to drive a tank...and that’s when you get to shoot another one at the same time.

So this was another class task. however the awesome thing isn’t the tank. the awesome thing is that its my first real multi-player game I coded.

a lot of lessons learned here.

splitting the view port between two cameras

floats are awesome for adjusting the game variables on the fly.

put the bullet spawn outside the players collider, blowing yourself up isn’t as fun as it sounds.
