voices notations distortion is the debut solo show by artist and musician Gemma Thompson. Inspired by Pauline Oliveros' Sonic Meditations, the exhibition explores Gemma’s soundwalking practice through graphic scores, realised as drawings, paintings, prints, and sonic compositions. Each mark resonates with its own energy – echoing, layering, and unfolding across the surface.

Dana Claxto | Headdress–Jeneen. 2018

Known for her expansive multidisciplinary approach to art making, Dana Claxton investigates notions of Indigenous identity, beauty, gender and the body. Comprising photography, video, text-based work and documentation of her performances. Her practice investigates beauty, the body, the socio-political, and the spiritual.

Her paternal Euro-Canadian grandmother taught her how to harvest and preserve food and her maternal Lakota grandmother taught her to seek justice.
