Gang do any of y'all experience this too. Yk when you're multilingual and all the languages at least at one point of the day get muddled up in your head and what comes out is completely garbled and gibberish but perfectly understandable to you 😭.

My mom and I keep switching between Punjabi and Marathi (more for practice) and sometimes I mix the two of them and it doesn't make any sense (my bad) and my mom looks at me as if I've grown two heads 😭, then she just requests me to stick to Hindi and English JAJWJWH.

I head cannon, Damian Wayne losing a lot of words in translation when he was learning other languages. Especially since, when he was with the League English was close to the last language he learned.

So an average conversation with Damian looks like this.

Dick: Hey, Dami, how was your day?

Damian: It was fine, Jon and I went to the собака (dog) parque(park), after that we went to the Eisdiele (ice cream parlor).

Another thing is that Damian would just subconsciously talk shit about someone in a random language. Not because he doesn't want them to know what he's saying, but physically he can't say certain insults and curse words without taking a minute to translate, and obviously when insulting someone you need to be quick with it.

The funny part would be when someone asks Batman or Nightwing to translate, they don't cause they know it's for the best (After all Damian is brutal with his insults)

multilingual study problems: when you try to figure out the thai writing of the rhetorical "right? / huh?" but only know how it's verbally pronounced. So you try to translate it from english and german to thai but translators can't differentiate between right as 'being right' or right as 'the direction' or right as 'law'. And apparently "right" can be translated back into different words in thai too depending on the meaning.... So you try to say it into the app yourself with no success. Then play a video of a native thai speaker saying it but google translator gives you again "right" in english but no clue to the meaning and in german it translates to "right / rechts" as the direction....... and then your brain comes in with "all I can offer you is something that sounds like "nespa?" which may be the same phrase "right?" in yet another language but I won't tell you which language that is."

But also neurodivergent problems because my pattern noticing brain got hooked on that word since it's James new favorite filler word which he says at least once per live stream and I find that funny.

Which brings me now to the question: does he have a dialect maybe??? Because google captures his "tcheme" as "chi him" = "right" in english but "right / rechts" (direction) in german.... T__T all I want is the Thai writing of that little word...

P.S.: does someone know a thai < - > english dictionary that considers context? (similar like the english dictionary site dict.cc)

EDIT: I GOT IT over the japanese "desu ka" lol because with that I know 100% that it only has the meaning of "right?" so yea ใช่ไหม (Chı̀ h̄ịm) it is but that's still not how HE says it lol.... (also why is Chı̀ h̄ịm pronounced like tchaimay)

What gender is the table/key/insert objects in different languages, but it’s actually just what pronouns I’m using.

Like sure if we’re speaking English please only refer to me by They/Them, but if we’re speaking French or Creole use She/Neo, but by God if you don’t use He/Him in Russian or Czech I will bite your head off.
