Games That Weren't has been running for a quarter of a century this year, which is not only staggering, but also a bit scary if I'm honest.
Great write up about the 25th anniversary of Games That Weren't and a few of their big finds over the years.
I loved the preview of Spellcast on the C64 and aways wondered what happened to it (Sadly nothing beyond that demo)
And all the pixel art for Deadlock just looked amazing
What if I told you there was a Castlevania-like game that looked like it was on the NES, sounded like it was on the Megadrive and had cutscenes straight from the turbo grafx CD?
While I was in tumblr limbo for a month or so I played a lot of this. Really good. Recommend.
