So, there is this cat who randomly showed up at our apt building about a month ago, he doesn't belong to anyone, and is pretty skinny. But his paws are too pretty and smooth to have been born a stray cat. And we didn't want to take him to Town Lake animal shelter, cause they are always full, and will euthanize animals after about a month. So we, and a few other people from our building, have been putting out food and water for him. But everyday the maintenance people take away the bowls. Which is rude.
So today we decided we would take him Austin Pets Alive, cause they are a no kill animal adoption place. So we get there and their like "oh, we don't take animals here, you'll have to take it to town lake, but they kill animals there, so maybe you should just keep it..." LOL. Don't you think if we could keep it we would. And we have tried quite a few times to bring it to our apartment, but Fiyero HATES him. And even attacks my other boyfriend Mart, when he tries to bring the other cat inside. So now we don't know what to do...I think I might just put up an ad on craigslist or something. He is SO freaking sweet and cute. I want him to have a good home.
I made vegan chocolate chip cookies today. They turned out pretty tasty. Idk if any of you have heard/been to Snap Kitchen, but they make awesome cookies, so I tried to replicate them. They aren't exactly the same, but they are pretty freaking close. http://www.snapkitchen.com/ If things didn't work out at my job, I would love to work there.
We had to buy almond milk for the cookies, and it taste like liquid almonds. I kind of like it, but I don't think I'll be switching over anytime soon.
I dyed my hair a lighter blonde. Well, Mart dyed my hair a lighter blonde. But...I don't think you can really tell a difference. Mart says you can, but I was hoping for a waaaay lighter blonde. And this is like, MAYBE one shade lighter than my natural hair color. womp womp womp.
Mart is off to work, and I am off to pack more of our crap. We're moving in TWO weeks! I just hope those two weeks go by insanely fast. That is going to be such and awesome weekend and I am just excited for it to hurry up and get here.
