Everyone has that one book which they own multiple copies of. Every time you see it at a thrift store or a yard sale you’re compelled to buy it because it’s cheap and your favorite and you can’t quite remember where you’ve left the copy you read last time. Besides, that one wasn’t really your copy anyway, you’re pretty sure it was your mom’s or your friend’s, and you’ve just been reading theirs until you could get a copy yourself. Then when you get home, you find all of your old copies scattered throughout the house; one on each bookshelf, one by your bed, one in a pile on the floor, the list goes on. For me, this book is “World War Z” by Max Brooks. I own at least 4 copies (maybe 5; I’ve consolidated 4, but there’s one old mass market paperback copy I distinctly remember which I can’t find)
