thinking that inside out and sanders sides were such great ways to think about one's brain... coming up with my own set of 'sides' and writing lots of little scripts based directly on events from my own life, frequently lifting dialogue/vibes directly.... but no, it's just pretend. it's a metaphor.

and then when I was having actual conversations with Em, who was not one of my sides for stories reasons, but just a voice in my head, and posted some bits of it on tumblr, that lasted a couple days before I thought "no I shouldn't be doing this, it's disrespectful to Actually Plural people" and kinda shoved Em in a box.

yeah so maybe that genderfluidity through several distinct flavors of nonbinary/agender in college was also, perhaps, multiple people. plural queer culture is taking a while to figure stuff out on many axes!

hello I saw someone say recently that you can do things to affect where you fall on the monocon-polycon slider. we're currently very monocon and would like to change that. Do you have any advice or guides?

also anything to help make communication between front and back easier, or retaining back memories when in front, would be much appreciated

We've already answered questions Like this a couple times but honestly we're not sure, we don't know where we fall on the monocon-polycon spectrum, and trying to find out makes us dissociate/fakeclaim ourselves pretty badly, so we don't really have a good sense of it or experience in it at all... If anyone else wants to answer with their experience we welcome it!!!

Hmmm, I think it would take a bit. We don't fully switch very often, so probably a week or two at least. It would be really cool to have, though! Might cause some confusion but it would be nice
