about me: fanfic for me has always been for non-canon ships so when I tell you I am living my best life as a BuckTommy canon shipper and Buddie fandom shipper, I cannot exaggerate THE BEST LIFE of this situation

so ive been getting back into blue lock recently, just read the first volume of the manga i got a little while back and all, so as any good chronically online person would do, i open up ao3. i do the whole shebang, search; fandom; blue lock; sort by; kudos etc etc, and i *sincerely* believe that the blue lock fandom could give the mha one a run for its money with its shipping culture. because TELL ME WHY i start scrolling down, briefly scanning the tags and all, and i see not one, not two, not three, NOT FOUR, NOT FIVE, NOT EVEN SIX, but SEVEN works with isagi yoichi/everyone. and *even more* with isagi and multiple people. NOW NOW, i am 10 billion % not one to shame others for their ships, i think everyone should just do what they want, i just find it REAAALLY amusing that those are the first results for works with most kudos.

and, of course blue lock has nowhere *near* the amount of fics mha does, but jesus. there are very few other shows that ship the main character with that many people (at once). main characters obviously get shipped waaaaay more than others, but really. mha, blue lock, and heck, throw in haikyuu too, just have an unreasonably funny amount of ships with literally ANYONE the main characters interact with
