hey @ the tua writers, I hope ur gonna explain five getting randomly taller like this:

old man!five got yeeted through the time portal - when our five sends him back, he says that if old man!five doesn’t go back, the timeline would unravel and our five would cease to exist.

so it follows that sending old man!five back and him remaining an old man and not turning into his 13 year old self would have an effect on the timeline. that effect being five growing up faster than he otherwise would because the timeline is trying to compensate for the fact that his “past” self (aka old man!five way back in 2019, which is the past in five’s timeline pattern), is an old man instead of a 13 year old, and finding some middle point between those ages is the best solution.
