Can we have Raven for Elesis's demonstration target for flirting? Please? It would be hilarious. (Maybe Elesis x Raven?) Thank you!
“You know how to flirt, right?” Elesis asked.
Raven seemed taken aback by the blunt question, staring at Elesis with confusion. Elesis rolled her shoulders and elaborated.
“I don’t know if you saw it, but Elsword and Chung were trying to flirt earlier, and it was the most awkward thing. So I was thinking of giving them a demonstration, just so we’re not subjected to that again.”
“Ah. So you want to use me for that demonstration?” Raven asked. Elesis shrugged again.
“It’s either you or Ara, and I don’t think Ara knows how to flirt.”
“That might be a bit of a disaster,” Raven agreed, and nodded. “Alright, I’ll play along.”
Elesis chose her moment carefully - a time when Elsword and Chung were together, arguing over the benefits of potions and rather separated from the rest of the Elgang. She caught Raven’s eye, glanced over at Elsword and Chung, then winked at him. Raven caught on immediately and drifted over to Elesis.
She smiled up at him and reached out, touching him lightly on his human arm to draw him closer. “D’ya think Granny Vapor knows how to make a love potion?”
Elsword and Chung jumped.
A quirk of Raven’s eyebrows told Elesis exactly what he thought of that starter. But, as promised, he played along.
“She might,” he said. “Though if she does, she probably only uses it to get better offers from customers.”
“Aaah, how boring,” Elesis sighed, and dramatically threw a hand up to her forehead, messing up her hair in the process. Raven, after a moment, reached out and smoothed it with a gentle human hand.
“Boring?” he asked lightly, his touch lingering for just a moment longer than necessary on Elesis. “I take it you have another use in mind?”
Elesis glanced up at Raven, then let her eyes wander over him, smiling. “I might,” she admitted, pitching her voice suggestively lower. Raven chuckled.
“You’re not supposed to tell someone you gave them a love potion after the fact, you know.”
Elesis felt her heart do a strange little flip in her chest. She glanced up at Raven to see an amused smile - he was actually smiling - softening his face. For just a moment, she forgot Elsword and Chung were watching, and that this was supposed to be just pretend for their benefit.
And then Elsword coughed - or maybe gagged - and the world swept back into focus around Elesis, along with a blush in her cheeks. She raised her chin, pretended her heart wasn’t jumping into her throat, and returned Raven’s smile with a teasing one of her own.
“Tease,” she said affectionately. And then, glancing over at Elsword and Chung like she’d just noticed them, “Why are you two staring?”
Both of them gave a satisfying startled step backwards. Elsword blushed, grabbed Chung’s hand, and pulled him away. Elesis giggled at the sight.
“That seems to have worked,” she said, turning back to Raven. Raven’s face was back to its normal expression, but the ghost of that smile still seemed to linger in the corners of his eyes.
“It did,” he agreed. “Though I wasn’t just doing that for their benefit.”
Elesis blinked, feeling herself blush all the way down to her neck, and then with sudden surprise, realized that Raven was blushing too, just his dark complexion hid it better than hers. She swallowed her nervousness and reached out to trail her fingers down the back of Raven’s human hand.
Raven flipped his hand over and caught her fingers with his own. Elesis’ heart did another flip.
“Neither was I,” she admitted.
