RBC Headcanon
This scene here in "The Pureblood Pretense" chapter 6 says there's a tapestry painting of the basilisk that might not have been moving because said basilisk hadn't yet died. Which means that when the basilisk does die the tapestry will be able to move about in that painting. Which means that Rigel, if she isn't too traumatized to do so, could visit the painting and talk her back to sanity. Or Evan the snake, who was already aware of her before she died.
I go through fandom phases a bit like the moon. Sometimes I’m hyper focused on one fandom and the rest kinda fall off the board for a bit, but just because you can’t see my other obsessions, it doesn’t mean they’re not still there.
