So for the last three years, I've had to put the Murph in the office behind a babygate so I could vacuum. He *hates* the big vacuum cleaner, even when it's not plugged in. The in-laws gave hubby this new Dyson stick/cordless vacuum for his birthday, and oddly, Murphy doesn't mind it at all!
