Bran was very proud of the work he had done to make the old building into a tattoo parlour. Only a few days ago he'd painted the name on the window. 'Crescent Moon' was now a full blown parlour instead of Bran being an artist in another man's shop.
He was just cleaning up for the next client when he heard the bell chime and someone entered. "Hey!" Bran greeted with a quick smile. "Long time no see... don't tell me you're coming in for ink?"
“Just one date. If you don’t have a good time, I promise I’ll leave you alone and we’ll stay friends.”
ACOTAR verse for Bran
Talking with @little-earthquakes-rp about a new thread for our muses, I had so much inspiration for an 'A court of thorns and roses' verse for Bran which leans heavily on his medieval one.
Bran is only known as 'The Raven' and officially a part of the Court of Nightmares although nobody really knows how that happened or where he resides. He is rarely seen and the stuff of legend. One says that one look at the Raven turns your heart into ice, leaving you to drop to the floor in an instant.
The Raven seems to wear a cloak of raven feathers which covers his whole body, but the feathers are actually real. Bran can conjur them when he feels like it, they are drawn like a tattoo over his body and he can shapeshift into a raven at will. The entire left side of his face is covered in a tattoo of feathers and a beak over his nose.
Bran doesn't live at the court, but prefers one of the dark woods closeby, where he has set up a camp together with some of his trusted friends. They do not have any special powers, but are skilled with weapons and have Bran's protection. He just wants to be left alone, but is summoned once in a while to threaten on some of the other courts.
He draws from the persona the legends are about. When he speaks, his voice croaks from disuse, giving it even a more raven like quality. His ice blue eyes have a piercing stare and they seldom soften. His friends however would die to protect their lord.
Someone who would come upon Bran, would not notice much of the high lord, but would see a man dressed in protective leathers and dark greens, trying to be as much one with the forest as possible.
Rewatching Vikings because lately I can apparently only watch series if there’s one of my muses’ fc in it. Ahem.
I can’t help but love season 1/2 of Ragnar since he looks so much like how I have always imagined Bran. Replace his tattoo with raven feathers and there you have it.
