muse is so good to look at, so talented and i love his social commentary (lmfao) but seeing him be robbed of his nemesis, lines and personality is killing me. we're 6 episodes into the season and the guy who annoyed blindspot so bad blindspot threatened to kill him if he didn't shut up has yet to say some shit in costume. i was so excited for this scene and what we got feels like such a downgrade. the mural looks sick tho lmao

When Muse first saw you, he knew you were the one.

He watched as you locked up the record shop where you worked. You had no clue that he was watching you from the building across the street. As you started walking back to your apartment, Muse followed. He was supposed to be finding another victim as he needed more blood for his next mural but he became too fascinated by you to let you leave his sight.

Muse wasn't sure what it was about you but you were simply perfect to him. It was like you walked out of his dreams and there was no way he would forget you.

Muse watched as you entered your apartment, hung your jacket up, and threw your keys on the counter. You disappeared behind a wall before reappearing in your bedroom. With the light now on, he could see some of the band posters, family photos, and other decor in your bedroom. Your closet was wide open and wished he had binoculars or something so he could better see what was inside, besides clothes of course.

You continued on with your nightly routine, blissfully unaware of the eyes on you, and Muse mentally catalogued everything you did. He'd have to come back and see if it truly was a routine.

So Muse did came back. Every night. He followed you from the record store to your apartment, or to the local bar where you met up with your friends and then to your apartment. He had a sketchbook dedicated to you and everything about you. There drawings of you, notes about your likes and dislikes. He even wrote down information about your friends and family. Muse knew every little thing about you.

You had no idea.

Muse grew more bold as time went on and he started leaving gifts for you.

He could tell you slightly freaked out when the first gift arrived in your mailbox. It was a CD for one of your favorite band's albums. One Muse knew you didn't already own. Attached to the CD was a little note simply stating that Muse was a secret admirer. He tried not to come off as too intense and scare you into calling the police but he still did scare you a little.

Muse watched, and listened through the bug he placed in your apartment a few days ago, as you called your friends and asked for their opinions. They weren't freaked out like you were so you freaked out less. Eventually you deemed it cute, a little creepy but still cute.

Muse was ecstatic when he heard say that. His mind ran wild with your combined futures and he began planning the other gifts he would give you.

As time continued on, Muse left more little gifts. They were always in your mailbox and always signed the same. You appreciated the gifts more and more as each one arrived, no longer finding them creepy.

Muse visited your apartment more and more too. This you didn't know about but you did notice the occasional missing shirt or cologne bottle. He loved to spray the drawings of you with your cologne. You always made up some rational explanation unaware of the true reason. Your false reasoning always spurred Muse on, he wanted to see what he needed to do to make you notice.

This is when Muse decided he would make his boldest move, your meeting.

He entered your dark apartment through your bedroom window like he had many times before. He made his way to your kitchen and placed the small vase of roses he brought on the table, then he took a seat and waited for you to return from work.

It wasn't a long wait, only about five minutes. Muse knew you and your schedule so well that he knew this would be the perfect time to arrive at your apartment.

Muse could hear your footsteps getting closer to the door. You unlocked your apartment and closed the door behind you, only then did you turn on the lights.

Muse sat at your table with a smile on his face. Not that you could see the smile thanks to his mask and not that his smile would have changed anything.

You screamed.
