Molly followed Sherlock into the kitchen, leaning against the wall as she watched him make the tea. Every once in a while, she looked back, making sure that Delilah wasn’t getting into any trouble.

"Just think of it." She held her hands above her as if highlighting a banner above them. "Baby’s first crime scene." Molly was joking of course, and it showed in her smile.

"But you do have a point. A lot of things would have to change if you two were to have a child."

"Oh god, John would actually kill me if I took our newborn to a crime scene. He would strangle me in my sleep." Sherlock laughed, glancing back at Delilah and giving her a small smile.

"He does want one, though. A child, I mean. Maybe.... Maybe in a few years he and I can adopt one from an orphanage? Skip the poopy diapers and the sleepless nights." He smiled as he stirred his milk and sugar into his tea. "John would like that, I think."
